For tabletop games we discuss Dungeons and Dragons, Starfinder, Pathfinder, Paizo, Heart of Crown: Fairy Garden, Custom Heroes, Underwater Cities, Nickelodeon Splat Attack, Dreadball, and Blood Bowl. For video games we go over the rerelease of Warcraft I, Warcraft II and Diablo I, and then also cover Stardew Valley Multiplayer, Dungeon Defenders, and Yonder. In books we talk about Blood, Sweat, and Pixels, The Two Towers, the two new Warhammer Adventures series for children (Warped Galaxies and Realm Quest), Ender’s Shadow, The Adventures of Charley Darwin, The Last Unicorn, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. We finally end by sharing which of the recent superhero movies (Captain Marvel, Shazam!, and Avengers End Game) we like the best.

We talk about the video games Little Dragons Cafe and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. Finally we talk about our district chess tournament and the local Odyssey of the Mind tournament.

In this episode we discuss KiwiCo's monthly crate subscription for STEM and Arts activities for children. We discuss books we're reading: Artemis Fowl, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Shadow Children, The Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit. We cover the movies of Aquaman, Into the Spiderverse, and Bumblebee. We talk about the digital games Sims 4, Heroes of Might and Magic 5, Touhou Kobuto 5: Burst Battle, and Overwatch. We talk about the last season of the new Voltron and The Series of Unfortunate Events, and then the beginning of the new She-Ra cartoon on Netflix. We start on our quest to play every miniatures sports-themed game with Kaosball, Slaughterball, and even Zoo Ball. We end by talking about the playtests that Paizo is doing for the role-playing games Starfinder and Pathfinder Version 2.

This is the first time we have worn headphones while recording so that was different. It took a bit of getting used to. Our dogs kept joining in and knocking into our mics as well.

We also discuss playing various expansions for DC Comics Deck-Building Game. We talk about finishing up part one of the Dead Suns adventure path for Starfinder Roleplaying Game. I review Crucible Con, the largest miniatures gaming con in Florida. We also talk about finishing up The Series of Unfortunate Events book series and the book Jedi Academy. We compare the movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey with the book. Finally we provide an historical overview of the evolution of chess into role playing games and finally into modern video games. We do this by discussing two nonfiction books: Dungeons and Dreamers and then Playing at the World.
